Vikas
Adam is an award winning actor, director, producer, and writer who
works full time as Program Director for Junior Players, a non-profit
youth arts group and part-time doing social work (like, not the
planning parties kind (not that that isn’t social work)).
He's a
graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting/Directing (yes,
the parents flipped when they first heard). Vik is also incredibly
active in sexual assault awareness issues and was recently nominated
for Volunteer of the Year by the Crime Victims Council of Dallas
County. He received an Honorable Mention for the NetIP Leadership Award
at the National Level in 2006. He gets his “There’s
Something About
Mary” hairstyle by using a product called
‘Spiker’. And Aqua Net…lots
of Aqua Net.

Grishma Shah
is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and is
currently working on her Masters in Healthcare
Administration. She is born and raised Texan and in her
spare time she loves to read, go dancing, work out, travel,
and of course basketball-GO MAVS!

Hi,
My name is Ankit. This picture is me after the Dallas Whiterock Half
Marathon last year. I have lived in DFW for over 7 years. My interests
are running, traveling, backpacking, photography, camping, hiking,
foreign movies and investing. When I am not in a foreign country or
climbing mountains, I work in the local wireless telecom industry. |

As
a “number cruncher,” it’s surprising that
Shally is as socially dynamic
as she is. She currently works for Ernst & Young, has her CPA,
and
is greatly involved in the diversity efforts within the firm. She
graduated from University of Kansas with a Masters in Accounting and
Information Systems after which she moved to Dallas in 2005 and has
never once thought of clicking those ruby red heels to take her back to
Kansas. Her two major obsessions worth knowing are chai and shopping!!!
As Social Chair, she and her partner in crime, Rita, plan to introduce
new and exciting events and expand the NetIP Dallas Chapter to an even
larger professional Indian audience.

Rita
Shroff graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Business
Administration. Shortly after college, she moved to New York to pursue
a career in Advertising. After nearly 6 years in New York, she moved to
Dallas for a position at The Richards Group. Her hobbies include
traveling, working out, SCUBA diving, watching TV, creating crazy Excel
spreadsheets and, of course, giggling uncontrollably. You’ll
understand
once you get to know her. |

Ronsey Chawla has a BS in Biomedical
Engineering from Washington University and an MBA from the Stern School
of Business at NYU. He is a recent transplant to Dallas and
enjoys learning more about its people, active culture, and myriad
activities. He enjoys fine dining, travel, and outdoor
activities. He first joined the NetIP Board in 2006 filling a
vacant position. In 2007, he hopes to make a lasting
contribution and grow the organization's core base. Please

Ruturaaj
graduated in computer engineering from
Texas A&M
University and is currently working for Nortel. His interests include
kickboxing, digital video, travel and the stock market. He has held
various positions in the past at the local level in Dallas and on the NetIP North America board of directors. He is looking forward to
utilizing his experience in making the coming year the best for NetIP
Dallas!

Nikhil
Mehdiratta has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Th e
University of Texas at Austin & an MBA from Boston
College. He
recently relocated to the Dallas area and currently works for Texas
Instruments in sales. He is very active and enjoys being
involved in
the community through social, professional and religious organizations.

Development: Karthik Paramasivam

Karthik
Paramasivam ("Kar") recently relocated from San Diego to Dallas. He
graduated in Management from Purdue University in Indiana. He has been
working for more than two years in the financial services industry for
banks such as Capital One and HSBC. At present he works for Citigroup
as a Risk Analyst. Kar joins the board of NetIP Dallas this year as the
Professional Chair. In the upcoming year he hopes to expand on the
range of professional events and collaboration provided by NetIP
Dallas. Some of his many hobbies and interests include being a maniacal
Philly sports fan, movies, swimming and a vociferous passion for eating. |
